Keep the Wave for Change Growing this Summer!

Summer is here and vacation plans are booked! Whether you’re catching waves on an ocean, relaxing on a lake shore, or cruising down a river, chances are you’ll be on the water this summer. Take the opportunity to join the Wave for Change. For World Oceans Day, many people accepted the challenge to make a commitment to keep our oceans healthy. Let’s keep this Wave for Change growing all summer long!

It’s simple. While you’re at your favorite coastal spot this summer, choose an action that you can do to keep our oceans healthy. Here are some ideas to reduce your use of disposable plastics. Commit to the action of your choice, and sign your pledge by recording yourself doing the wave on camera.

Get your friends and family involved and you can do a group wave! You’ll be joining singer Jack Johnson, and organizations like Shedd Aquarium, New York Aquarium, Texas State Aquarium and many more on this growing Wave for Change.
