Beach 'Rock' Fest (White Point Beach Resort)

Join us at 3:30pm for an hour long adventure down the beach with our geologist extraordinaire from Keji National Park, to learn about the rocks along our shoreline and the thousands of years worth of stories they share. Learn to identify basalt from granite, do we have beach stone or cobblestone and why are they so round? Why our sand is so white? Who makes the beach their home, including our Piping Plovers!

As night falls, at 7:30pm join us at the Founder’s Lounge Fireplace for ‘These Rocks Can Talk’. Standing tall and solid as a rock, our 2.5 story floor to ceiling beach stone fireplace weaves a story through the ages you won’t believe. Come gather around and see what the fireplace has to say.

Complimentary with your overnight stay, Day Pass or Country Club Membership.
